On the Ukrainian-Polish border in the territory of the Lviv oblast, today, August 6, from 01.00 to 05.00, the checkpoints were not working, said the deputy of the Lviv city council Ihor Zinkevich.
«On August 6th, from 01:00 to 5:00, checkpoints on the Ukrainian border did not work. Nobody was allowed into Ukraine: neither buses, nor cars. On the Ukrainian side, nothing is explained. Poles said that «Ukrainians flew all the computers and the border was closed», Zinkevich said.
Users of social networks reported that at the checkpoints across the border of the queue, around 05.00, there were large queues, and in the columns also stuck buses and tourist buses.
At the same time, according to Varta-1,reason for the slowing of traffic on the border with Poland was lack of electricity.
«Due to the failure of the transformer substation, the checkpoint in the village of Sheghini, Mostyskyi district, was partially de-energized», report said.
