Aviabomb Discovered Near Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki

During construction work, a WWII Bomb was found at 250-300 meters far from Consulate of Ukraine in the Greek city of Thessaloniki.

This was announced by Serhiy Pogoreltsev, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, UNIAN reports.

“Information from the Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki. During construction work in the city of Thessaloniki, at a distance of 250-300 meters far from the consulate, a WWII aviation bomb was found. Local authorities are deciding whether to take the necessary measures. The consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki is charged with informing about the course of events,” said Pogoreltsev.
