On February 23, the rock musical “Got to be free”, consisting of several short stories about the events of Euromaidan, will take place in Theater on Podil. This reports Gazeta.ua.

The director of the musical is Vitalii Malakhov. Lyrics and music belong to Volodymyr Lavrenchuk.
“Ukrainian theater is musical-dramatic in nature. Today our task has become to rethink historical events, to turn them into a work of art in order to continue this tradition. “Got to Be Free” is an almanac reflection, which consists of short stories that tell about the events of Euromaidan. These are stories about how Euromaidan made a society out of the crowd, brought together completely different people, and we ho we all changed. For the first time, Ukrainians had to express their own opinion and choose a side,” the theater management noted.
In the formulation there are bright special effects, immersion scenography and strong emotions. The performance involved an orchestra and ballet.

Previously, the "Journalist" reported that Austria declared 2019 as The year of Ukrainian culture.
