The report notes that the protest already caused a long line of cargo vehicles at the enter gate of Cologne-Bonn airport.
According to reports, the German union insists on the introduction of a EUR 20 per hour payment for employees who inspect passengers, cargo and airport personnel.
It is noted that employers were willing to make concessions and agree to an increase in salaries at a 6.4% level. However, the German union of service workers, Ver.di, disagreed with the proposal.
