Turkey launches largest naval exercise in Republic’s history

The Turkish Navy launched its biggest ever naval exercise Blue Homeland-2019, Yeni Safak reported.
The exercise will be held from February 27 to March 8.
It is reported reported that a total of 103 vessels are taking part in the drill in the waters of the Black, Aegean and Mediterranean Sea.
It is known that five frigates, four destroyers, two submarines, two minesweepers, one landing ship, one tanker, four guard boats and one coast guard search and rescue ship take part in the Mediterranean drills. Also in the maneuvers involved special forces soldiers, amphibious brigades and aircraft.
