Hungary opened almost 400 cases against Ukrainians obtained Hungarian citizenship by fraud

At least 370 cases were opened against the Ukrainians, who illegally obtained the citizenship of Hungary, Mukachevo.net reports.

Hungarian Prosecutor General Peter Polt, responding to the request of the leader of the faction of the opposition Democratic Coalition Party (DK), Agnes Wadai, reported that as of today, 60 investigations are underway, 32 cases are still at the initial stage. In total, court decisions were taken in 108 cases.
Recall, the Сhairman of the opposition party faction appealed to the Prosecutor General of Hungary with a request to investigate cases concerning illegal acquisition of Hungarian citizenship by Ukrainians. Some politicians believe that Ukrainians are massively registered in the east of the country on the eve of parliamentary elections to participate in election fraud.
