The Law No.2516-VIII, according to which the state-owned enterprises’ real estate may be purchased by their employees, came into force in Ukraine. The document was published in the Voice of Ukraine, official parliamentary edition.
The new law expands the list of cases to which the prohibition of the alienation of state property does not apply. In particular, if 100% of the company’s shares are owned by the state, such companies can sell housing to their employees. This is about alienation of state property by sale, which is carried out in full accordance with the terms of collective bargaining agreements without the application of competitive principles.
As The Journalist reported, the swindler has deceived customers by UAH 50 thousand giving them housing for rent in Kyiv.
