Level of the shadow economy in Ukraine has decreased by 11 percentage points (pp) since 2014, said First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine [Stepan Kubiv](https://www.youtube.com / watch? v = OuznFL4kd80).

«Since 2014, the shadow economy has shrunk by 11 percentage points. This is the result of many factors – reducing ERUs (the Unified Social Contribution – Ed.), raising the minimum wage, reforming the public finance sector, deregulation, decentralization. We are talking about public finances of the state», said Kubiv.
Note that the level of the shadow economy in Ukraine in 2017 amounted to 31% of official GDP.
