Ukraine to launch massive recalculating and increasing of pensions for all pensioners from March 2019

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman рфы instructed the newly appointed Сhairman of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Yevhen Kapinus, to prepare for recalculation of pensions, which is planned to be held in March 2019.

According to the governmental press service, the Prime Minister said this during a meeting with the new Had of the Pension Fund.

«The fund should be prepared to raise pensions for military retirees from January 1, 2019, and prepare to a massive recount and increase of pensions for all categories of pensioners, which to be held for the first time in the history of Ukraine on March 1, 2019. This is a huge job. You actually have four months to prepare the Pension Fund so that every Ukrainian retiree will receive his promotion,» the Head of the Government said.

Also, Groysman has expressed his hope that the new Head would restore order in the pension system of Ukraine and make the Pension Fund’s work public, open and understandable.

As The Journalist reported, the key problems for Ukrainians are war, low wages, high tariffs and unemployment.
