Violation of sanitary legislation requirements is established in every fifth establishment of health improvement and rest of children, according to the website of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
«Violation of the requirements of sanitary legislation is established in every fifth institution – 2283 (22%), which is more than in 2017 (17.6%)», the report said.
Violations established during the surveys of the institutions concerned the lack of compliance of drinking water with the requirements of sanitary regulations for sanitary and chemical and bacteriological indicators, the lack of an agreed indicative menu and food suppliers, the disinfection measures, the non-completion of repair work, the improper condition or the amount of refrigeration and technological equipment of food units, untimely passing of periodic preventive medical examinations of employees and admission to work without medical examinations.
As the Journalist reported, Ukrainians most often are poisoned in children’s institutions and in public canteens.
