Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine plans to create a scientific and methodological base for introducing schools to study the history of Holodomor in 1932-1933 during educational process Ministry of Education reported.

Also, yesterday, on August 2nd, the relevant memorandum was signed with the National Museum Memorial of Victims of Holodomor.

Memorandum stipulates that the Ministry of Education and the Museum of Victims of the Holodomor jointly participate in the creation of a scientific and methodological base for the educational process of the secondary and higher schools, drawing on the opportunities of partner institutions and organizations that cooperate in using the museum’s findings on the genocide of the Ukrainian nation in all institutions of the system education, subordinate to the Ministry, in the educational process of institutions of general secondary education in Ukraine.

Also, the Ministry of Education and the Museum of Victims of the Holodomor agreed on a partnership to increase the subject competence of school administrations in order to inform them about the importance and necessity of studying the history of the Holodomor in the school and exploring this topic at the regional level during extracurricular time.

As The Journalist reported, in Portugal the city of Braga recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933. genocide of the Ukrainian people.
