Law on «single window» at customs came into force in Ukraine

The law No. 2530-VII, that introducing a «single window» at customs came into force in Ukraine. The document was published in the Voice of Ukraine, official parliamentary edition.

The new law simplifies the procedures for customs clearance of goods. Now, state agencies that issued permits for customs clearance are required to submit them in electronic form to the state information system «Single Window for Foreign Trade». This is about phytosanitary, veterinarians, environmentalists, radiologists and other controllers. In their turn, the authorities of of Revenues and Duties will not be able to require permits in paper form from the declarant if [according to the law] they must be in the «single window» system.
Only customs officers and border guards will remain at the customs. They will pre-inspect the goods and make a decision in two hours, skip them or call specialized experts.
There is an increase in salaries to specialists of the State Fiscal Service – to the leading specialist – UAH 35 thousand, to the chief specialist UAH 38.7 thousand, to the deputy head UAH 42 thousand and to the Head of the Department – UAH 44 thousand.
As The Journalist reported, ex-employee of the Odessa customs was released on bail of UAH 1.7 million.
