Vatican’s transport will switch to ecological fuel

The city-state has signed an agreement with the Italian oil company on the transition of all local transport to bio-fuel made of oil. This was reported by MSN.
The processing plants, located in Venice and Sicily, will convert used oil (from Vatican restaurants) into biodiesel.
In the capital of Italy, oil and other biological waste collection points have been operating for over a year.
According to the manufacturer, from all over Italy about 65,000 tons of oil per year could be collected. It is stated that it is much safer for the environment to recycle it into biofuel than to leave it in a landfill and allow it to enter the environment.
