Over 9.3 thousand employees of the Audi auto company plant in the Hungarian city of Győr are on strike because of the wages, Reuters reported.
"This weekend, another 300 workers joined the strike, which started on Thursday (January 24 – ed.) at the Audi plant in the Hungarian city of Gyor involving 9,000 employees of the company," said in a statement.
The report notes that the strike was arranged in connection with the demand of employees to increase wages.
In turn, the mass strike caused suspend of production at the main Audi plant in Germany due to a lack of vital components from Hungary.
As The Journalist reported, the United States also launched an investigation into the company Nissan.
