The leader of the political Golos party Sviatoslav Vakarchuk said on the air of the TV “Freedom of Speech” program that his party list in the Verkhovna Rada contains people who have not been deputies before.
At the same time, Vakarchuk noted that former candidates or those who are currently deputies, sharing the values and political views of the Golos party, can count on the support of his political force in the elections in the majority districts.
The leader of the Golos party expressed confidence that the present election law would be changed.
“As soon as our party comes to power, it will do everything possible to make plurality voting system disappear forever as a shameful phenomenon. I believe that even today’s power, including the president, should have done everything to force this parliament to repeal this law. Because it is corruption, it is a hotbed of total irresponsibility”, he said.
