The Golos party withdrew two candidates in Lutsk and Kyiv. The reason is non-compliance with the criteria. Namely, the links with the “Ukrainian choice” party of Viktor Medvedchuk and the “Opposition block” party at the 2014 special parliamentary elections. This was reported by the press service of the Golos party.

Today, the Golos party of Sviatoslav Vakarchuk withdrew two candidates for people’s deputies by the majority system: Taras Shkyter, who was nominated for district #22 in Lutsk, and Yevhen Kuguk (district  #217 in Kyiv) because due to inconsistency of their previous political activities with the party’s criteria.

As noted by the Golos party, there was nobody among the candidatures who fell under lustration, collaborated with the Yanukovych regime, Communist Party, secret services of totalitarian regimes, the separatists and pro-Russian forces, including those with Russian citizenship or economic interests in the aggressor country.

Previously The Journalist reported that Vakarchuk said his party to make plurality voting system disappear.
