Researchers concluded that children who spend a lot of time in front of the TV or tablet screen are able to solve problems worse, reports UNIAN.
Canadian experts evaluated the ability to communicate and solve problems and other personal development skills of 2 400 children of two, three and five years. According to the results of the activities carried out, the scientists came to the conclusion that children of two years who spend more time in front of the screens show signs of slow development by three years. And those children who did not tear themselves away from the screens of televisions and tablet computers at the age of three, under 5 years of age were noticeably lagging behind in the development of their peers.
Scientists encouraged parents to engage in educational games with children.
