The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine failed in the first reading the draft law No.9400 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Regulation of the Exercise of the Right to Additional Leave to Participants in Hostilities and Persons with Disabilities Due to War”. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Andrei Paruby, the correspondent of RBC-Ukraine reports.

Only 185 parliamentarians voted for the adoption of the document. In addition, 188 MPs voted for the return of the document to the committee for revision, and 185 deputies voted for the return it to the subject of legislative initiative.

Accordingly, Parubiy announced the rejection of the law.

The document proposed to provide participants in hostilities and persons with disabilities due to war with additional leave with pay retained for 14 calendar days.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky would not sign bills adopted by ‘buttons pushers’.
