The newly elected Verkhovna Rada (VR) of the 9th convocation is unlikely to begin work before September 1. This was stated by the head of the President’s Office Andrii Bohdan, RBC-Ukraine reports.

To Bohdan, the reason for this are a large number of lawsuits that do not allow the CEC to form the final convocation of the future VR.

“As far as I understand the timeline for the work of the Verkhovna Rada, it probably won’t have time to start work before September 1. It depends on a large number of lawsuits, which do not allow the Central Election Commission to form in the final version convocation of the Verkhovna Rada,” Bohdan said.
