On September 22, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell will pay an official visit to Kyiv, the EU Delegation to Ukraine reports.
Josep Borrell will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. After that, he will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
“During his visit, Josep Borrell will also meet with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Taran, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and the Trilateral Contact Group Heidi Grau, as well as with the Chief of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Yasar Halit Cevik. In addition, he will meet with representatives of civil society and Ukrainian parliamentarians to discuss anti-corruption developments in Ukraine,” the report reads.
The EU Delegation to Ukraine recalled that the European Union has provided Ukraine with an unprecedented package of support, including personal protective equipment at the expense of the EU, helping to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. With this in mind, the EU High Representative will also visit the regional laboratory in Kyiv.
