After withdrawal from the European Union, the British Government will strengthen trade ties with Ukraine. This was reported by UNN news agency.
It is reported that British Secretary of State for International Trade Liam Fox will speak at the London Business Forum in London to British and Ukrainian businessmen with a statement on support for Ukraine, even when the country leaves the EU.
«We are here today only in order to deepen trade relations between our peoples, but also as a sign of solidarity and unity in front of external aggression. Our exit from the EU does not change the UK’s commitment to the development, growth and prosperity of Ukraine. It also does not change our commitment to sanctions against Russia. Indeed, we are taking measures to ensure a smooth transition of sanctions into British legislation on the day of secession from the European Union,» – Liam Fox said.
