Supreme Court of Russia declared legal 8 years in prison for Ukrainian Panov

The Supreme Court of Russia has recognized as legitimate the decision of the court of the occupied Crimea to sentence the citizen of Ukraine Yevhen Panov to 8 years in a penal colony, who was accused him in preparing sabotage on the peninsula.

This decision was announced by the three judges of the Supreme Court of Russia. The court meeting was held in a closed mode at minus fourth floor, in the bomb shelter hall, UNIAN reported.

«The sentence against Panov was left unchanged, the appeal was dismissed,» the judge read out the verdict.

He also added that the decision can be appealed to the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

As The Journalist reported, Yevhen Panov was sentenced to 8 years in a penal colony in Russia.
