A helicopter belonging to the Moldovan company has crashed in Afghanistan.
«The MI-8 MTV helicopter with the registration number ER-MHR of Valan International Cargo crashed soon after take-off from the military base located in Mazar-i-Sharif. On its board were three crew members [citizens of Ukraine] and 11 Afghan passengers,» – the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova said.
According to preliminary data, 2 Ukrainians and 10 passengers died.
According to the Notepad Moldovan news agency, the helicopter catches fire after crashing from a height of 15 meters.
As The Journalist reported, helicopter with foreigners on board had crashed in the mountains in Tajikistan.
