The new head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (RSA) was appointed Vitalii Bogovin. He replaced Vitalii Turinka at this post. This was stated in the decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“To appoint Vitalii Bogovin the chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration,” the document reads.
Vitalii Bogovin graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian University, in 2006 he founded the company “Bizon-Tech 2006”.
In 2010, Bogovin became a co-founder of the agricultural holding LANDFORT, and in 2016 – the holding BLW Group.
In the parliamentary elections of 2019, Bogovin was nominated in constituency No. 78 as candidate from the Servant of the People party, but lost to Oleksandr Ponomarev, the representative of the Opposition Platform – For Life, who was ahead by several thousand votes.
