Vitaly Hlukhoveria relieved of post of chief of police in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast

“By the order of the head of the National Police Serhiy Kniazev, in coordination with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arseniy Avakov, head of the Main Directorate in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Vitalii Hlukhoveria was dismissed. Now Artem Vasitsky has been appointed acting police chief of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast,” the message says.

According to the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, on July 27, an official investigation was launched into the events that took place in the city of Dnipro. The findings of the official investigation will be forwarded to the State Bureau of Investigation. The National Police provides assistance and comprehensively facilitates the investigation.

Today the head of the police of the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast filed a resignation report to the head of the National Police. His report was granted.
