President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed the Batkivshchyna party MP, Vladyslav Bukharev, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ruslan Riaboshapka announced this, as 112 Ukraine reports.

“A decree has been signed on the appointment of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. Vladyslav Bukharev has been appointed to the post,” the head of the Presidential Administration said.

Later Riaboshapka clarified that this was precisely the people’s deputy, member of the Batkivschyna party.

We recall that Bukharev was elected in the constituency No.162 in Sumy Oblast. The parliamentarian is also the chairman of the main directorate for combating organized crime of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on legislative support of law enforcement.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky dismissed head of State Affairs Department.
