Estonian parliament intend to restore merchant fleet

The Estonian government has started a project on restoration of the country’s merchant fleet. This is reported by the Korrespondent news agency.
The country’s authorities plans to increase the merchant fleet up to 300 large merchant vessels over the next seven years.
It is noted that the first reading of amendments to the law on the state flag of which vessel sails under, law on register of vessels and to law on taxes will begin in the Estonian parliament on November 7.
Recall that the last ship sailing under Estonian flag was excluded from the state register in 2014.
