A police officer, who holds one of the leading positions in the management of information and analytical support of the State Emergency Department in the Lviv region, was caught for a bribe. This is reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
It is reported that the lieutenant colonel of the police has demanded USD 600 from the resident of the Lviv Oblast for deleting information on his conviction from the database of personal-reference records.
«Within the framework of the opened criminal proceeding under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, operative staff of the special services detained the extortionist near his work place during the receipt of undue benefits,» – the report said.
As The Journalist reported earlier, senior investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine of was taken into custody.
