The Head of Starosamborsk district State Administration, Orest Bonk was detained on June 18 on receiving USD 1500 of unlawful benefit. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
As it became known, law enforcement agency detained the head of Starosamborsk district on the allegation on extortion and bribery.
«Investigators of the Police Department in Lviv region, in cooperation with the operational staff of the Department of Economic Protection documented the extortion and receipt unlawful benefit in amount of USD 1,500 by the chairman of the Starosamborsk district State Administration of Lviv region. The official was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine», – the message said.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who has extorted a bribe from a subordinate officer, was detained.
