Large-scale tank exercises took place at one of the test sites of the Chernihiv oblast (Ukraine), where the troops, with army aviation support, have practiced to attack advanced enemy forces.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“At a certain time, the troops start to move to line from where they were planned to attack enemy. During deployment, the tank forces were supported by Ukraine’s army aviation. At the highest possible speed, the subunits went through difficult terrain and launched an attack at the enemy’s advanced forces,” the statement reads.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that at one of the exercise stages were worked out issues of introducing the battalion reserves into battle and deploying them into battle formations.
In addition, technical support units conducted evacuation operation of damaged equipment from the battlefield. By the orders of the command and observation post, a second echelon was brought into battle to build up efforts in the direction of the main attack.
Also, after performing the next task, the brigade went on to the defense. During tactical exercises, the battalions defense against the enemy using tank and mechanized units.
