The electoral fund of presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky was amounted at UAH 156 million and was funded by various sources, civil movement “Chesno” reported.
The Zelensky’ election fund was replenished from various sources: contributions from individuals – UAH 71.7 million and from the party “Servant of the People” – UAH 65.9 million, the candidate’s own funds – UAH 11.7 million, contributions from legal entities – UAH 7.1 million.
Among the five donors who made the largest contributions to the Zelensky Fund are the companies OOO Agroche Plus and OOO Interenergotrade, which transferred UAH 3 million each to the candidate’s account. Both companies are registered in the Cherkasy Oblast and are engaged in wholesale trade: the first is in grain, the second is in fuel.
Among the private contributors who financed the election campaign are Zelensky’s colleagues from the 95th Quarter, members of the Team Zelensky, former deputies.
About 75% of the funds (UAH 107 million) from the Zelensky election fund went to broadcast TV ads: Zelensky ordered television advertising on most national TV channels.
Another UAH 22.5 million (or 16% of the fund) the winner of the presidential election spent on advertising on external media.
As The Journalist reported, the Kremlin is ready to negotiate with Zelensky about a quarter reduction in gas prices.
