The highest rate of spread of the HIV epidemic was recorded in Eastern Europe. According to a new report on the spread of HIV infection in the world, a dangerous disease is once again attacked by mankind. «In 50 countries, the number of infections increases, and death rates are very slow. Moreover, in Eastern Europe and Central Asia over the past twenty years, the figures have doubled. This is the data of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV / AIDS (UNAIDS). For the first time, 13 UN agencies plan to intensify cooperation in order to achieve the necessary reduction in the incidence of HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis before 2030, and then completely defeat these diseases», the WHO said.
