The World Health Organization (WHO) believes that coronavirus may never go away, but become another endemic virus, Reuters reports.
“This virus may become another endemic virus in our communities, and this virus may never go away,” WHO emergencies expert Mike Ryan said.
He also noted that it is important to be realistic, because, in his opinion, it is difficult to predict when this disease will disappear.
“I think that there are no promises and no dates in this. This disease may develop into a long problem, or it may not be,” he said.
Mr. Ryan noted that the world will be able to cope with the spread of the virus when vaccine to be found.
