Representatives of the World Health Organization and public health authorities in several European countries believe that young people are now the main distributor of the coronavirus. This was announced by the WHO Director for the European Region Hans Kluge in an interview with the BBC.

“We are receiving reports from health authorities in several countries that the majority of all new cases are recorded among young people. For me, this is a solid enough argument to rethink how best to convey this to young people,” Kluge emphasized.

Young people are driving spike of coronavirus in many European countries.

For example, in the Netherlands the coronavirus spreads faster among young people than among older people. France notes that recent outbreaks of coronavirus are associated with the behavior of people aged between 18 and 25, who do not observe social distancing.
