The US President Donald Trump told this to the journalist on the South Lawn of the White House before departure to Houston.
“Ukraine has a lot of problems. Germany, France, all of the EU should spend much more money. Why are we spending money and they’re not? They’re spending very little by comparison, and I’m not happy about that,” TASS reports.
Recall that on September 19, the U.S. House of Representatives (lower house of Congress) passed a legislative act on providing USD 250 million of military assistance to Ukraine.
In particular, the law extended funding for “Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative”, which is expiring on September 30, 2019.
