The former representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group, Yevhen Marchuk, said that Moscow provides inaccurate information about the Ukrainian military detained in Russia in an attempt to hide the traces of severe torture. He wrote this on his Facebook.

According to him, Ukraine supports the exchange of prisoners upon “all to all” principle, however, when the Ukrainian side sent Russia a list of 107 prisoners, Moscow found only 27 of them. At the same time, Marchuk claims, the Ukrainian authorities know where they are.

“In my opinion, this only can be associated with one thing: most of these 80 of ours could have been subjected to severe torture, and traces of torture are visible,” said Marchuk.

The former representative of Ukraine in the tripartite contact group concluded that evidence of torture would have led to international trials in The Hague.

As The Journalist reported, the JFO Commander held a meeting with a teacher of the National Security Department and the strategy of the American ground forces.
