US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who this month completes her work in this position, did not always convey objective information about the work of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
This was stated by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, UNIAN informs.
“Unfortunately, it happened that the U.S. ambassador – now a former ambassador – did not always convey impartial information about the situation in our country, in particular, about law enforcement agencies. It seems to me that she was too subjective in her attitude and divided people in groups, between the embassy’s favorites, those who were always right, including Sytnyk, Leshchenko, and other people, those who were bad,” Lutsenko said.
At the same time, the Prosecutor General noted that the result of the work of the Prosecutor General’s Office and other law enforcement agencies are 2,800 convictions in corruption cases of category “B”, while the National Anti-Corruption Bureau has “zero sentences” in corruption cases of category “A”.
As The Journalist reported, Trump’s personal lawyer sought dismissal of US Ambassador to Ukraine Yovanovitch.
