A Ukrainian poet, professor of the Illinois University Bohdan Rubchak died in the United States of America. This is reported by a movie critic Serhiy Trymbach on his Facebook page.

Ukrainian poet died in the New Jersey hospital at the age of 83.

This friendship was an honor to me. In recent years, Bohdan with his wife lived in Boonton (New Jersey, USA). His house and his heart were open to the world, he knew the value of the words and was ableto revive them as a wizard,» – the message said.

Recall that Boghdan Rubchak was born in 1935 in Kalush. In 1943 he moved with his parents to Germany; after his father’s death, together with his mother he moved to the United States.
