Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the Donbass, two wounded

Over the past 24-hours, June 28th, four Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the area of Joint Forces Operation (JFO), two were injured, according to the press center JFO.

For the past 24-hours Russian occupation forces opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 28 times, in particular 9 times – from heavy weapons. In turn, the units of the Joint Forces Operation conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
In the Luhansk direction, the invaders were active at night and fired on the defenders of Novotoshkovskyi from the tank, mortars, automatic grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicles.
In the area of Svitlodarsk from grenade launcher and heavy machine guns, militants fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Svitlodarsk and Novozvanovka. As a result of fire provocation, one Ukrainian defender was killed and another one was wounded.
In the area of the village of Yuzhne, which is in the Gorlovka direction, the terrorists actively used mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, the fire from which was a cover for the work of a sniper and a sabotage group. Two Ukrainian fighters were killed. In the same direction, as a result of enemy fire from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, the defender of Luhansk was wounded.
In the Donetsk direction, the occupants fired from the grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms the positions of the UAF in the vicinity of the villages Maryinka, Verkhnetoretska and Avdeevka. One of the defenders of Avdeevka received injuries incompatible with life.
According to updated intelligence data, nine militants were killed, eight were wounded.
