Over 1,500 people go missing in Donbas during the war

Executive Director of the East-SOS Charitable Foundation, Alexandra Dvoretska, referring to the data of the International Committee of the Red Cross, said that during the war in Donbas, more than 1,500 people go missing from both sides.

«According to official data, from 2014 to the present time more than 1.5 thousand people have disappeared in Ukraine. These data are provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross,» – Dvoretska said this as quoted by UNIAN news agency.

It is emphasized that half of the missing people are military, and another half are civilians.

«However, the exact number of missing persons is now difficult to calculate,» – the representative of the organization added.

As The Journalist reported, installation dedicated to memory of missing fighters will be set in Kyiv.
