In Malaysia, Supreme Court convicted a Ukrainian woman of importing cocaine and sentenced 24-year-old Claudia Lopatkina to life imprisonment.

The judge said that Lopatkina had enough time to check the contents of the two plastic bags with which she flew from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur and from there to Penang.

Ukrainian did not look into the bags, saying that they are chocolate. Lopatkina was detained on December 31, 2015 at Penang International Airport with 1.5 kg of cocaine. It is known that the citizen of Ukraine at that time was in the first month of pregnancy. A young woman gave birth to a girl in prison.

A woman has been charged with an article that provides for the death penalty for such a crime, writes Liga.
