Zakarpattia airfield construction will take approximately up to three years

According to the head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects of Ukraine Kyrylo Khomiakov, a company was chosen that will carry out pre-design work for the construction of an airfield for a new airport in Zakarpattia.

“The expected cost of the work was UAH 5 million, and the winner will complete the work for UAH 4,220,000,” he said.

ProZorro system indicated that the winner of the tender for the implementation of pre-design work for the construction of an airport in Zakarpattia was the consortium “Land Bud Project UA”, with an authorized capital of UAH 50,000, reports the CFTS.

Agreement will be concluded in the near future.

“Thanks to the pre-design work, will be determined the location of the airfield of the new airport in Zakarpattia. Two locations are currently being considered: Seredne or Mukachevo. Pre-design work will last up to 3 months. After determining the final location of the runway, work will begin on the development of design documentation. The government approved UAH 30 million for these works. The construction of the airfield will take approximately up to three years,” the statement says.
