“I had a telephone conversation with President-elect of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. I congratulated him on his election as head of the neighboring state and wished him success in a responsible post,” said the President of Moldova.
According to Dodon, during the conversation the parties discussed relations between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in various areas of mutual interest.
“We agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in the near future and discuss topical issues,” the Moldovan head of state added.
As reported by “Journalist”, Dodon will not meet with Poroshenko because of the upcoming elections in Ukraine.
