Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has confirmed that the head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelensky can meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Osaka (Japan).
“Zelensky plans to attend the G20 summit scheduled for June 28-29 in the Japanese city of Osaka,” Klimkin said in an interview on Channel 5.
Also, according to the Foreign Minister, after June 25, “Ukraine will launch a new wave of pressure on Russia.”
This will happen if the Kremlin does not submit to the UN Tribunal on the Law of the Sea a report on the release of Ukrainian sailors POWs until Tuesday.
“This pressure will be short-term, because we need to achieve a result. And there will be medium-term pressure, because the result will be a restriction of Russian naval activity, military activity. We are planning a lot of things, but talking about it will stay behind the scenes,” the minister stressed.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko said he would help Zelensky with advice, actions and his relations.
