President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Vasyl Volodin as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Serhiy Trofimov introduced the new head of the region on June 18. Vasyl Volodin previously served as acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration (RSA).
Since December 2019, he has been deputy head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Prior to that, Volodin was acting director general of the Electronmash State Enterprise.
