President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Iryna Venediktova as acting head of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). This is stated in the presidential decree No.961/2019 dated December 27, 2019.
“To appoint Iryna Venediktova as acting director of the State Bureau of Investigation,” the document says.
By his previous decree No.960/2019 dated December 27, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Roman Truba from the post of head of the SBI.
“To dismiss Roman Truba as director of the State Bureau of Investigation,” the document says.
Iryna Venediktova is a People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People faction and heads the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy.
