Zelensky fires Trofimov from post of first deputy head of President’s Office

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Serhii Trofimov from the post of First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU).

The corresponding decree No. 482/2020 of November 4 was published on the website of the head of state.

“To dismiss Serhii Trofimov from the post of the first deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, according to his statement,” the document says.

By another decree No. 483/2020, Zelenskyy appointed Trofimov as his advisor (out of state).

Trofimov was responsible for regional policy in the President’s Office.
