President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone talk, which last an hour and a half, with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the Presidential Office.
Zelensky discussed with Macron the results of the G7 summit.
President of Ukraine informed his French colleague about the situation in eastern Ukraine and expressed support to the position of the summit participants regarding impossibility returning to this international platform of Russia in the conditions of the war in the Donbas and the Russian occupation of Crimea.
Emmanuel Macron confirmed his intention to hold a meeting in the Normandy format in the near future.
