President-elect of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Johannes Hahn. Mr Hahn writes about this on his Twitter page.
According to him, he congratulated Zelensky on his victory in elections in Ukraine and stressed that “victory gives the new president a mandate to fight corruption + for ‘de-oligarchisation’.”
“I offered the elected president the full support of the European Union for all reforms which will benefit Ukrainians. Ukraine faces many challenges and threats and all Ukrainian authorities – President, Government and Verkhovna Rada – have now to act in the most responsible manner. This means to ensure that in the current transition period + ahead of Parliamentary elections urgent reforms are not stalled, but accelerated to ensure financial + economic stability,” wrote Hahn.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky had met with representatives of the Council of Rabbis of Ukraine.
