Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ruslan Riaboshapka said that the team of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, plans to convene an extraordinary meeting of Ukraine’s parliament on July 18 to adopt a number of laws, because they must “fulfill their duty to the country,” UNN reports.
“We want to convene an extraordinary parliamentary meeting on Thursday [July 18]. We will demand the parliament pass legislation that would enable the Anti-Corruption Court to work effectively. We will demand the adoption of a bill on illegal enrichment,” Riaboshapka reported.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President stressed that the President, despite preparations for the parliamentary elections, expects the VR to adopt anti-corruption initiatives.
